Objective of the Measure:

This vocational preparation measure aims to integrate already trained professionals in the medical field into the German labor market.

The goal is to enhance linguistic (oral and written) competencies and to impart specialized German language skills necessary for everyday work.

Through individual support, participants gain confidence in both written and spoken language use. This approach directly addresses the acute shortage of skilled workers in German hospitals by leveraging the potential of foreign doctors.

Contents of the Measure:

  • Linguistic preparation for working life in the medical field, enabling participants to conduct fluent conversations with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
  • Taking medical histories, patient education, writing doctors' letters, conveying findings, and describing treatment processes.
  • Examination preparation (telc-B2/C1-Medicine).

At the end of the program, participants will be prepared for the German labor market. They will receive targeted training in language skills for creating application documents. Additionally, job interviews will be simulated and analyzed. The outcome of this training is a self-written application provided in digital format. Once the application documents are complete, the training transitions into the practical phase. Participants will actively apply for positions they find in the job exchange of the Federal Employment Agency.

Target Group:

The target group for vocational preparation educational measures in the field of medicine includes individuals with a migration background who have already completed medical studies or nursing training or are seeking similar qualifications in the future.

Participants must already have German language skills at the B2 level.

Duration of the Measure:

90 units (45 minutes each)
